- Don't use Polo for illegal activities or to plan harm.
- Don't scrape, reverse-engineer, or stress-test the API beyond rate limits.
- Don't post hateful, defamatory, or sexually explicit content on the forum.
- Don't impersonate locals, businesses, or government officials.
- Don't evade rate limits, payment requirements, or content policies via automation.
4. Polo AI — disclaimer
Polo provides travel suggestions, translations, and contextual help. It can be wrong. For anything legally or medically consequential (visas, prescription medicine, police interactions) verify with an official source. We don't guarantee accuracy of AI-generated content.
5. Intellectual property
The Neo-Marco Polo name, logo, design, and code are ours. Content you post (forum, profile, conversations) remains yours; by posting, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, display, and back up that content for service delivery.
6. Payments & refunds
Paid features (e.g., SVIP, premium routes) are billed in your local currency or USD. Refund eligibility is described at the point of sale. Goodwill (free tier) has no payment but is subject to fair-use limits.
7. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from settings. We can suspend accounts that violate these Terms after notice (or immediately for severe violations such as fraud or harassment).
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the past 12 months. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (lost trips, missed connections, etc.).
